As an alumna of the Clarion Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer's Workshop (1996), I am pleased to help spread the word that applications for Clarion 2009 are still being accepted at http://clarion.ucsd.edu

This year's faculty includes Holly Black, Larissa Lai, Robert Crais, Kim Stanley Robinson, Elizabeth Hand and Paul Park.

Deadline for submissions if March 1.

You can duplicate Clarion: Stay up late, get up early, and write like hell for six weeks nonstop with sixteen people you may or may not like. Then throw a party.
