Thank you! Peng was a lot of fun to write.

But pandemics ... I recall, when I was a newspaper reporter covering AIDS in the 1980s, chatting with an epidemiologist, who said that as disastrous as AIDS was (he was a gay man himself), it could be worse. Because we had time to kill before a meeting started, he explained what other kinds of diseases could happen -- and how to prevent their spread, and why sometimes that didn't happen.
