Packers defeat Bears in Madrid

It may be hard to avoid football in the United States, but here in Spain, you have to seek it out.

My husband and I found it last night in the James Joyce Irish Pub in Madrid. Irish bars are all over the world. They serve as the de facto American bars, and they usually have sports. (And good beer.) Last night the James Joyce hosted a lot of Packers and Bears fans.

We'll be back for the Super Bowl. In this time zone, kickoff will be after midnight. Go Packers!
