From the current chapter of an untitled novel:

"Injuries have happened there," I said.

She raised her hand with part of a finger missing. "Wear gloves and don't take them off. And don't be stupid like Queen Rust. The corals hunt, and they have a pretty good range. I wrote a full report about our visit. You can read it."

A long report, probably, and in Classical English. I didn't reply.

After a moment, Karola said, "I'll read it and send you a summary."

"Oh," Honey added, sitting straight up with enthusiasm, "and you want Arthur to be on your team. He's great there, and he'll keep you safe."

This is my twelfth attempt to get this post past LiveJournal's armed guards. It would not let me post from any of my accounts. I had to change my password, go through three different captchas, and copy/paste a block of text into a text box.

This is probably why you did not get a lot of comments to this interesting meme.

Sorry it was hard to get in. I had the same trouble with Wordpress, so I finally just made Wordpress account.

As for Madrid, the school year ends next week, and then I go for a long weekend in San Sebastián. Yay!

Also, I just checked my settings, and no one should be getting a captcha here, not even anonymous posters. I'm sorry that happened.
